Why the ability to speak matters more today than knowledge of tools.

It's 2025. And while the AI bubble will likely burst, we are entering an era where:

▪️ all the knowledge in the world will be at your fingertips

▪️ the level of expertise will be equalized

▪️ the amount of goods produced will increase

▪️ people will spend even more time online

What will be the skill of the future? Those who can speak will win.

History has already seen this

Today, we're focusing on AI to take over mental tasks. But once upon a time, this was done by AI – Slave Intelligence. Yes, in ancient Rome, slaves weren't just washing machines, kitchens, or dishwashers; they also performed intellectual tasks – teaching children, calculating bills, managing estates, and keeping records.

So it's worth asking, what was crucial to the Roman elites in an AI world?

Rhetoric, public speaking and the ability to play social games.

A performance is not just a stage

Today, public speaking is a video, a podcast, a conference, or even a sales call. And that's where we see who can speak.

I come from the artistic world and I will share the most important lesson:

In speaking, three things matter – performance, performance, and performance.

Content, experience, facts, and knowledge are only second, third, or even fourth. Which also explains the reach of such a Wild Trainer.

People don't listen to content. They listen to people.

Business and academic people often fail to learn rhetoric, voice projection, or body language, and then they're surprised that no one wants to listen to them. They forget that people don't listen to content—they listen to the person. Want to fulfill your dreams and goals? Learn to speak persuasively. Reach for the classics of rhetoric.

Nothing has changed. And it's unlikely to change.

I'm currently reading Cicero's "On Rhetorical Invention ." And you know what? All the principles are still relevant. Because human emotions and the way we process messages remain the same—regardless of the era.

Algorithms are increasingly learning to respond like humans. This means that the ability to speak in an engaging and credible way will become increasingly valuable .

Those who can attract and persuade will win. Not those with the most knowledge.
